On the performance side, this ski will be a lot of fun for very athletic female skiers. The Super Joy loves speed. It is grippy, stable, holds the line in the turn, and provides solid edge hold in all conditions. Its fairly short turn radius, quick turn initiation, and good rebound at the end of the turn make it very responsive and agile, which the testers really appreciated.

However, the Super Joy is relatively stiff so it requires effort and good technique. You have to be aggressive and forward, pressing on the tongue of the boot to flex the ski properly. The ski seems less comfortable in skidded turns than last year’s model.

The Head Super Joy is an excellent ski for this category and will please female skiers who already have good technical skills, have mastered carving, and love speed.

This listing is for a nice pair of K2 CoomBack Big Mountain Telemark Skis.  They are 174 cm. in length.   These skis are in good condition.  The top sheets are nice, the edges are sharp with some oxidation, and the bases are smooth with only tiny scratches near the tips (please see picture 4).  These CoomBack Skis are mounted with G3 Targa Telemark Bindings with G3 Leashes.  The bindings are also in good condition and work perfectly with no issues.  The adjustment barrels all spin and adjust perfectly and the bindings lock and release correctly.

The edge and base bevel measure out nicely (0.5*/3.0*), bases are flat and grind pattern is good. Soak in the wax, throw on a binding and put 'em on the snow.

This is the "tweener" race ski in the Rossi line. The 182 is a little softer and has a slightly tighter radius than the 185cm/27m. Perfect for the lighter weight or less aggressive Masters skier or anyone wanting to rip GS turns on a legit race ski.
